Invitation to Webinar - Onboarding of Schools on Skill India Portal as Skill Hubs under PMKVY 4.0



In line with the vision set forth by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, there is a strong emphasis on the promotion

of skill development in schools across India. The Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) stands as a flagship

scheme under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), dedicated to this cause.

With the launch of PMKVY 4.0, there is a renewed commitment to making the program candidate-centric. This involves

creating an enabling ecosystem that aligns with the emerging sectoral needs. As part of this initiative, it has been

envisioned to utilize the existing infrastructure of schools post regular hours or on non-working days, establishing them

as 'Skill Hubs' for providing Skill Education and Training to adult learners and out-of-school children.

We are pleased to encourage all CBSE-affiliated schools, particularly those offering Skill subjects, to consider initiating
