What is Esports?

Esports is the name we use to categorize organized video gaming played at a competitive level. Depending on the game and tournament style, you may have solo (1v1) style matches or full teams of 6+.

Esports is a multi-billion dollar industry that is growing at an extremely fast rate. It's not expanding just here in the US it's expanding fast on a WORLDWIDE scale! Let's put that into perspective. The most-viewed esports event gathered 60 million unique viewers and that was way back in 2018! Compare that to the most recent Super Bowl which gathered about 98.2 million unique viewers. But wait... 98.2 is way larger than 60 what's going on here?? Well, the NFL has had over 50 years to build up their worldwide viewership numbers. Esports hasn't had nearly as much time and it is still in the infant stage of development, imagine what it's going to be like in the next 10 years!
