Exciting News from Siena Rugby Alumni!
We’re proud to announce that the Siena Rugby Alumni Association is now an officially recognized 501(c)(3) organization by the IRS. This means any donations made to the Alumni group are tax-deductible!
Over the last three years, we’ve been building community through events like post-match barbecues for both the men’s and women’s teams, and we’ve started a tradition of an annual Senior Recognition and Alumni Dinner. During this event, graduating seniors are presented with gifts, and players are recognized for their contributions to the club.
As the success of both teams continues to grow, we want to continue enhancing the student-athlete experience with even more events and support. One of our goals is to help offset additional expenses that aren’t covered by the teams’ operating budget, such as recruiting and retaining a Major League Rugby (MLR) professional player to join our coaching staff as an assistant coach.
With your support, we can ensure that Siena Rugby continues to thrive and compete at a national level. To help fund these initiatives, we’re organizing our Annual Day of Giving on July 30th. Our fundraising goal for the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 seasons is $10,000—and every contribution, no matter the size, helps us reach this goal.
