Thanks to our partnership with SGN the Energy Matters project has been funded since 2023. We Support vulnerable households with free, impartial, confidential advice and support. The aim is to reduce fuel poverty and help households tackle energy debt and improve household income.

We provide support to residents in Cherwell, West Northants and Wellingborough.

Our support includes:

Priority services register
Switching and tariff checks
Carbon Monoxide awareness

Billing queries
Complaints
Energy hardship fund applications
Energy debt management
Income maximisation
Retrofit schemes
Referrals to partner organisations

Over 3,500 households vulnerable households helped since 2023

Energy Matters provides energy support conducting appointments over the telephone, via email or video call.

Eligibility and geographical criteria apply to deliverables and are allocated by the Energy Matters team subject to availability.

We also attend events and conduct workshops in community venues face to face or virtually. Please contact the team if you would like us to attend your event.

We are a registered charity and rely on funding to enable us to continue our services in the community.
