My name is Caitlyn Hunter and I am a first grade teacher at Cavalier Public School. This is my eighth year teaching and my sixth year in first grade. I have also taught fifth grade ELA for two years. I am a graduate of North Dakota State University and Valley City State University with degrees in Human Development and Family Science and Elementary Education and endorsements in reading and math. 

Outside of first grade, I spend most of my time coaching the Cavalier Tornado Cheer Team for football and boys basketball. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, gardening, and taking my dog Nellie for walks.
