Catty Grads Teacher Edition 

Mr. Snyder - Class of 1983

Participated in : Baseball, Basketball, Student Council, and National Honors Society

Favorite memory : "Being around my friends and competing in sports."

Journey to teaching at CHS : "I was originally a surgical sales for about 8 years after college.  I then became certified to teach chemistry, where I spent the last 20+ years teaching at Salisbury High School.  In 2021, the opportunity to teach at Catty presented itself and I decided to continue teaching at CHS."

Mr. Moll - Class of 1990

Participated in : Baseball, Basketball, Student Council, Varsity "C" Club, National Honors Society, and Yearbook

Favorite memory : "I have lived here my entire life.  My mom and most of my family graduated from Catasauqua High School.  It was a great community to grow up in.  It was awesome to be able to graduate with the friends I went to school with from kindergarten through high school.  I have always great pride for our school district and community. "

Journey to working at CHS : "After graduation from college I worked in insurance sales.  While working in sales I stayed involved with school.  I started coaching basketball with Coach Snyder in 2000.  I applied for the Athletic Director position in 2006 because I wanted to work in a job where I would have a greater impact on people's lives."

Mrs. Haas - Class of 2005

Participated in : Cheerleading, Track, Field Hockey, Student Council,  and Varsity C 

Favorite memory : "Planning the Pep Rally and Spirit Week as the Activities Coordinator for Student Council."

Journey to teaching at CHS : "Luck."

Mr. Matz - Class of 2007

Participated in : SADD as president, Drama Club as a stage manager, National Honors Society, and Student Council.

Favorite memory : "Helping Mrs. Resto move art supplies from the old high school to this one over the summer."

Journey to teaching at CHS : "I heard there was a position opening and I wanted to teach high school, so I applied!

Miss Estrada - Class of 2011

Participated in : Volleyball, Basketball cheering, Varsity C, Generation Hope (Volunteer Club), and Green Team 

Favorite memory : "Volunteering experiences through Generation Hope and our Aquatic biology trips were my favorite. "

Journey to teaching at CHS : "I started as a substitute teacher and then the long-term substitute teacher in gym class and I quickly fell in love with teaching and knew I wanted to be a special education teacher. "

Mr. Casciotti - Class of 2012

Participated in : Football, Basketball manger, Student Council, Brown and White, and German Club

Favorite memory : "My favorite memory was when we beat Northampton on turkey day my senior year. It was the first time that we beat them in 10 years at that time."

Journey to teaching at CHS : "I was teaching Preschool last year and in the beginning of this year I found out it wasn’t for me. I emailed Mr. Schnug about an instructional aide position here and now I have been here since November."

Participated in : Field hockey, Basketball and Track & Field, Varsity C Club 

Favorite memory : "My favorite memories were being apart of spirit week and the pep rally my senior year. "
