Austin Crisp

Coach Austin Crisp is the Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, and Quarterback Coach at Ringgold High School. This season will be Coach Crisp’s 14th year coaching football and his 8th year at Ringgold High School. Coach Crisp has spent time at Saddle Ridge, Gordon Lee, and Lafayette High School. He has coached Linebackers, Defensive Backs, Quarterbacks & Wide Receivers. He has served as a Defensive Coordinator and an Offensive Coordinator at different schools. 

Coach Crisp first came to Ringgold High School in 2018 as the quarterback coach. In 2020, he was hired to take over offensive play calling as Offensive Coordinator. In the last FIVE years, the Tigers have averaged 30+ points per game. This will be his third year as the Head Coach of the Tigers. 

Coach Crisp is from Chickamauga, GA, and graduated from Gordon Lee High School in 2011, where he was a four-year letterman, a three-year starter in football, and a multisport athlete. He is a graduate of Western Governors University. While attending Western Governors, he earned the Excellence Award for Teacher Work Samples in the Graduate Program for his work in the classroom. He also has a graduate degree from the University of the Cumberlands in Coaching & Fitness Leadership. He is married to Ringgold High School’s Head Cheerleading Coach, Anna Crisp, and has one child, Harper Rae.
