The HMS Band
Welcome to the HMS Band! We will be using our rehearsal time to develop our skills and musicianship to continue to grow as musicians. To develop great musicianship our curriculae includes theory, practice strategies, and listening skills to help further understand what makes music GREAT! It is expected of all band members to average AT LEAST three days of 20-30 minute practice per week.
I look forward to working with each of you as we navigate through band and music together!

2025-2026 HMS Band Fee
2025-2026 HMS Band Fee
The fee is $100 for 7th and 8th-Grade Band Members and $50 for 6th-Grade Band Members and will be due by October 3rd -- checks must have a phone number, and be made out to "Heritage Middle School". This non-refundable fee will cover uniform shirts, all honor band and festival registrations and acceptance fees, school instrument use, and all bus trips/meals. This will mean we will NOT collect fees at any other time throughout the year. We will still conduct fundraisers to help buy large instruments and repairs, but as always, participation will be optional. Also, any special trip that requires an overnight stay will be extra -- and optional!!!
