Membership

This year, one of our primary goals is to grow our membership, both in size but also in representation of the many cultures, religions, and traditions that exist across the families at our school. Joining the PTA is free and open to all members of the community. Parents are encouraged to join, but we also welcome grandparents and others with close ties to students at our school.

If you’re interested in joining but worried about any time or financial commitments involved, please know that those need not be barriers. While donations are welcome, joining is free and gets you access to direct communications from the PTA. This will include news of events we’re planning, many of which are free, opportunities for participation, and offers from our community partners. Though many members elect to join meetings, volunteer, or serve on committees, none of these activities are required. Since we are all aligned in the goal of supporting the students, teachers, and staff at Catonsville Elementary, we’re excited by any contributions- whether they involve donations of time, money, or just ideas- our membership can give.
