Are You Responsible?

These are new work habits and behavior incentives that our team will be utilizing in this school year.

Are you being...RESPONSIBLE is spelled out next to each child's name on a clipboard on the teacher's desk. If a student makes a bad choice, a letter will be taken. If a student does not complete a homework assignment a letter will be taken. The letter for homework will be given back the following day if the homework is completed and the OOPS NOTE is signed (see homework section for more info on this).

Once 4-6 letters are taken from RESPONSIBLE they are not being a responsible student and a restricted lunch will be given

Once 7 or more letters are taken away the student will be given a detention.

Each week this starts fresh and all taken letters are erased.

You Are...RESPONSIBLE is a positive incentive plan. If a student does something that correlates to the school's Fish Philosophy he or she earns a letter to spell RESPONSIBLE. This could be anything from helping a classmate, getting a compliment or showing exceptional choice making.

If a student completes all of their homework for a week they will receive a letter.

Once RESPONSIBLE is spelled out they will receive a special prize. RESPONSIBLE can be spelled as many times as possible.
