Sacred Heart School consistently achieves outstanding academic results, way above local and national averages in every subject area. Progress 8, a more comprehensive measure of school success, places us firmly as one of the very top performing schools in the country.  

We are an outstanding Catholic secondary school for boys with a co-educational sixth form located in Nunhead, South East London. Our progress 8 score of +1.22 (2022) places us as the Number 1 boys' school in the country and the 14th highest performing school in the country. Our students consistently achieve over one grade higher than expected in each of their GCSEs.

Achievements such as these are born out of a culture of hard work and success. Our most recent Ofsted inspection (November 2018) has categorised our school as outstanding in all categories. The boys take tremendous pride in their school community and their learning. One student told the Ofsted Inspectors: “We enter as boys, but we leave as young men.”
