The Catholic Schools’ Partnership is a group of 14 schools and colleges in the Southwark Diocese (South East London and Kent) committed to offering learning opportunities of the highest possible quality, enhanced by our distinctive Catholic ethos.
Why should I join the CSP?
We believe that the single most significant factor of a child’s success in school is the quality of their teachers. The Catholic Schools’ Partnership is, therefore, dedicated to developing staff with high expectations and a clear understanding of how to create a learning environment in which their students can flourish. Our focus is on developing teaching and learning through innovative ideas, creativity and intelligent collaboration. Our strong and supportive network is based on the shared values of our schools and colleges.
ITT Lead Partner
The Catholic Schools’ Partnership, in collaboration with our university providers, will be offering a range of PGCE training places for the academic year 2024-25.
We are a Lead Partner for the following universities:
Goldsmiths, University of London (Goldsmiths Lead Delivery Partner)
St Mary's University, Twickenham (St Mary's Lead Partner)
UCL, Institute of Education (IOE Lead Partner Direct)
As a Lead Partner schools within the Catholic Schools' Partnership are able to recruit trainees directly and select them to train within our partnership of schools. Most of our trainees go onto work within the partnership of schools after their training year has been completed.
Our Offer
We offer excellent teacher training through both traditional and more recent routes to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). School-based research and reflection, along with the sharing of outstanding expertise within a business-like model form the heart of our work.
