K-8 Faith Formation

K-8 Faith Formation

The K-8th Grade Religious Education Programs are held in each of our three parishes on Wednesdays starting the beginning of September and running through the end of April.

We use the Faith and Life series by Ignatius for our textbooks. Most of our classes have two grade levels combined with a two-year rotation of text level.

We have an On-Site Coordinator at each location to help with the responsibilities of running the program.

In addition to the work that the catechists do with the students, we also have prayer testers at each site to help with memory work of prayers, the Ten Commandments, the Sacraments, etc.

Fr. Mack or one of our Deacons is on site at each program to visit the classes, to answer questions, and to give the blessing to the students and catechists at the end of class.

Our hope is to give our students a firm foundation in their faith and for them to fall in love with Jesus and the Church.
