The Learning Resource Center offers both on-site and electronic resource materials that are aimed to enhance the educational experience of our student body.

On-Site Learning Resources
Students are welcomed to access various resources during school operating hours to supplement their in-class and hands-on education, and to assist with the completion of out-of-class assignments.
Students have access to:

MA Board of Registration of Cosmetology and Barbering
"The Board of Registration of Cosmetology and Barbering regulates cosmetology, barbering, and electrology in the Commonwealth in accordance with state regulations. The Board issues licenses to qualified individuals, businesses, and schools to ensure public health and safety by maintaining high standards for each industry."
Estheticians in the state of Massachusetts are regulated by the Board of Cosmetology and Barbering. Access this site for license information, as well as policies and regulations.

CHIE students who have completed 300 Hours of education and other CHIE requirements, may register to sit for the state license exam.

Associated Skin Care Professionals

Included in your CHIE 300 Hour kit, is a "Diamond" that may be used to access the ASCP services, including resume and business card development, which could be used to complete the required 600 Hour Resume project.
The ASCP site also offers a Skin Care Glossary, which may be used to complete the required 300 Hour Ingredient project.
