Homework/Classwork – 20%
All classwork and homework is posted on my GC stream each day. Please make sure you are getting the Daily Google Classroom Summary Reports to help your child stay on track.
All classwork and homework should be completed on time even if your child is absent.
Lessons are completed in the big book and colored packets for each Topic.
All students will be given a colored packet at the beginning of the each topic, this will be checked daily and picked up for a grade at the end of the topic.
Please look through both of these to see if your child has been completing their homework on time. Each page is worth 2 points and I will pick both up at the end of the Topic for a BIG homework grade.
check mark - completed on time - receives the full 2 points
Minus 1 point (-1) means it was ½ done or did not show work - receives 1 point
X - not done on time - receives 0 points
Quizzes and Tests – 60%
quiz on each lesson and test at the end of each Topic
questions come directly from the big book questions and the math XL’s
MathXL – 20%
MathXL assignments (3 attempts to get the question correct)
‘view an example’ and ‘help me solve this' options if your child gets stuck on a problem.

Students have 2-3 nights to finish the assigned MathXL. Don't wait ... BE PROACTIVE and get it done early!
