Timeline to Teaching

I grew up in Leesville, LA

I was active in JROTC, on Drill team and Ranger team (Not my school but same activity). 

I also participated in soccer and track and field


I received my Bachelor of Science degree in biology: biomedical sciences from NSULA, with a minor in Social Sciences



I taught high school sciences at St. Mary's Catholic School in Natchitoches, LA for three years

(2014-2017)


I received my Master of Education from Auburn University

(2016-2019)

Currently:

This will be my seventh year at CCS teaching middle school science.

I teach 7th and 8th grade.

I co-sponsor the Chess Club and Science & Technology Club.

I also assist in creating student schedules for the school.

More About Me

I have two corgis, Tucker (12yo red) and Ellie (4yo blue tri-color) that are so cute and playful. 


I am currently working towards receiving my Doctorate of Education from LSU. 


I love teaching and learning with my students. Middle schoolers are funny, smart, curious, and I can’t wait to spend a great year making memories with you all!
