Hello Tuttle Elementary students and parents. I am Shanda Parker the school counselor. This is my 18th year in education, 13th year as a school counselor and my 8th year at Tuttle. I really look forward to working with the students and families at Tuttle again this year!
It is my mission as a professional school counselor to be a leader and an educator that students can rely on and consult regarding any issues or problems they may have. I show no bias so that I can ensure all students have an equal opportunity to achieve their goals.
I am here to guide all students on their path to academic, career, and personal/social development so they may be able to reach their potential and succeed wherever life may lead them. I will do this by working with parents, teachers, administrators and the community to advocate for the students while at the same time following confidentiality and ethical practices.
