Hello Startown Tigers! I am so excited to support all students this year through classroom lessons, individual and small group counseling. I attended UNC Charlotte for my undergraduate and graduate degree, and served as an elementary counselor in Cabarrus County before moving to Catawba County in 2022. I LOVE being a school counselor! I enjoy integrating expressive arts into my work with students, encouraging them to communicate their feelings, thoughts, and experiences in a comfortable and enjoyable way! I am a North Carolina School Counseling Association 25-26 Emerging Leader, and I am honored to advocate for students and counselors at the state level. I am also a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. In my free time I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and crafting. I am thrilled to be a part of your child's educational journey here at Startown Elementary.
I believe in fostering a collaborative and supportive partnership between school and home. Your involvement is key to success, and I am so excited to work with you to ensure that your child's educational experience is enriched and fulfilling. Please message me on Parent Square, email (bethany_white@catawbaschools.net), or call.
