Reusing a post in the Classwork area of Google Classroom allows you to copy an assignment (or question, quiz, or material) from any other Classroom to your current one. It is a nice way to copy and modify an assignment that is similar to one you have previously used. It also allows you to copy an assignment from another class into the current one.

Make use of the great features of Google Classroom that allow you as the teacher to give assignments to individual students or a group of students.
Every student doesn't have to do the exact same assignment at the same time.
This video explains several ways for you to give students effective digital feedback using Google Tools. Some of these tools include suggesting or editing modes as well as comments and a custom comment bank.
In Classroom, you can create, reuse, and grade with rubrics for individual assignments. You can also export rubrics to share them with other teachers. You can give feedback with scored or unscored rubrics. If a rubric is scored, students see their scores when you return their assignments.

To save time, you can copy a class you’ll teach again. Your classwork and your grading system copy to the new class. Items specific to the original class, such as posts to the Stream page, don’t copy.
Only teachers and co-teachers can copy a class. The teacher who copies the class becomes the primary owner of the copied class.

Archiving removes the class from your Classroom homepage and puts it in a separate area making your homepage easier to manage. Only teachers can archive or delete a class. You will still be able to reuse posts and assignments frmo an archived class.
Note: You can't unenroll from an archived class.
Timed quizzes can be created using Google Forms, the Forms Add On FormLimiter, and the scheduling function in Google Classroom. Although this shouldn't be used for all quizzes, it is an option that is available.
