How do I find my school?

Will my student receive transportation to school?
Students are guaranteed bus transportation from their home address to the school within their attendance district. Students must sign up for bus service to let the district know they need to be picked up and dropped off.
What if I have questions about obtaining verified forms such as birth certificates?
You may contact your elementary school if you have any questions regarding the forms needed. If you need a copy of your child's birth certificate, please click here to visit the Catawba County Register of Deeds website for more information.
How do I prove residency when enrolling?
The following materials will be needed to show proof of your Catawba County address:
a valid ID with your address and ONE of the following - current water, gas, or electric bill in parent's name that is no more than 60 days old, newly signed lease, or offer to purchase agreement.
Is it possible to attend an elementary school other than the one assigned to my address?
Students must register and participate in the screening process at the school within his/her attendance area. In June, Catawba County Schools will offer a time for parents to apply for a transfer to another school within our district. At this time parents may choose to apply for the transfer request. If a request is granted, the student information will go to the school in which the student will attend.
