All Students begin by taking an introductory level art course called Beginning Visual Design. In this course students are taught the basic skills of drawing with a focus on drawing realistically using black and white values and various techniques. Once students have taken Beginning Visual Design, they can choose Visual Art Intermediate, Painting, Drawing, or Sculpture. Proficient and Advanced levels of Visual Art, Painting, Drawing, & Sculpture are honors level courses. With the progression of these courses, students create a portfolio of work and develop a broad range of skills using a variety of mediums.
