You should deploy your blogs and other content across a range of 3rd party sites and platforms that have high domain authority and may have a better chance of ranking in google than your own site. With new content that you have put on your own site it is easy to instruct Googles bots to crawl new pages using search console ( formerly webmaster tools), you can not instruct Google to directly crawl a 3rd party site like Linkedin, Medium or Quora but if you put links to those new pages on page like this that you do control and can get crawled that the Google bot will follow that link and discover the new page, crawl it and hopefully index it.
