Step 1. Consequence
Classroom interventions, parent contact and consequences as defined by the particular Grade Team.
Step 2. Intervention
At this step, students will be receiving 2 lunch detentions, and will have a conference with the Dean of Students to discuss their actions and commit to not becoming a reoffender.
Step 3. Contract
At this step, parents and students will need to sign an improvement contract making them aware of further consequences of reoffending. Students will serve two lunch detentions, as well as a Friday detention. At this step, students will be on probation for school activities and will not be able to participate in them for a duration of 4 school weeks.
Step 4. Probation
At this step, parents and students will sign a probation contract letter. The student will serve a Friday detention, as well as an In-School Suspension. Students at this step are In Probation, and are no longer able to participate in school activities for a duration of 12-16 school weeks. Should further violations occur, the student will be subject to non-re enrollment or permanent separation.
