OUR AGENCY'S HISTORY
Children's Arts & Science Workshops (CASW) was founded in 1968 by neighborhood parents and teachers during the NYC teacher’s strike to provide young people in the Washington Heights neighborhood with academic and cultural enrichment. The program was an immediate success, and the decision was made to continue the program even after the strike ended.
OUR HISTORY IN DYCKMAN
Children's Arts & Science Workshops (CASW) has been at Dyckman since June 2019. Since our time at Dyckman, we have had the fortune of connecting with community members/local stakeholders through programming and community events. We welcome all community members to come in and get to know us!
