Book Club - our student book club meet once per week
Chess Club - our students meet weekly
Chaplaincy Group - our student chaplaincy group support various activities across our school
Creative Writing Group - our creative writing group is open to all students in all year groups
Gaisce (The Presidents Award) - our students participate in the Gaisce award each year
School Bank - our student operate and run our school bank
School Musical - each year our student have the opportunity to perform in and produce our school musical
Science Club - our students engage in fun and interesting experiments
Students Council - our school has an active and vibrant student council
Trad Music Group - students from all year groups are invited and welcome to paly in our trad group
Robotics Club - our robotics club meet regularly and compete at national level
Young Scientist and SciFest - our students compete in national competitions in various science related areas
The school competes in the following sports: Basketball, Camogie, Golf, Hockey, Hurling, Ladies Football, Rowing, Rugby, Tennis, Show Jumping, Swimming amongst others
Activities include such things as orienteering, team challenges, adventure activities, campcraft, team building activities.
All students do a six week block of swimming during over the three years of Junior Cycle.
Students participate in athletic activities such as running, high jump, and throwing. Students compete in the Cross Country Championships and the track and field championships. Students from the school have achieved many medals for athletics in recent years.
Students are presented with opportunities to extend their understanding of a variety of dance forms.
Games are broken into three areas: 1. Invasion 2. Net 3. Fielding Games. There are many games offered in the school such as Basketball, Gaelic Football, Hurling, Camogie, Tennis and Soccer to competition level. Also during PE games such as Badminton, Volleyball, Dodgeball and Rounders are played.
This area provides students with the opportunity to develop an understanding of health related fitness and to apply its principles to actual participation. Activities include Gym work, Fitness Tests, Heart Rate Monitoring, Muscle Groups, Flexibility, Strength & Endurance.
