Kia ora.  My name is Jocelyn Parker and I became a part of the Castlecliff School Community in 2019 when my two boys and I moved to Whanganui from places afar.

I herald from a tiny place in the deep south called Papatotara and throughout my life I have enjoyed stints all over New Zealand from Invercargill to Auckland and places in between. I have also spent many years overseas in both hemispheres including Canada and Australia.

Today though, I love being in Whanganui. So much so that I bought a house in Castlecliff! I love teaching at Castlecliff School and I look forward to many, many years to come in this amazing community.

As a teacher, I love to push my students to reach new levels of learning that they never knew were possible.  I love experiences that are challenging, engaging and imaginative - I can’t wait to see where the path of discovery takes us every year.
