Elected Parent Representative
Kia ora, Bula, Talofa lava, Fakaalofa atu, Kia orana, Nĭ hăo, Namaste, Susadei, G’day, Assalam alaykom, Greetings.
My name is Pauline Ngataierua. I prefer to be called ‘Bea’. I have been blessed with six children, most of whom have completed their primary education at Castlecliff School. Four amazing mokopuna/grandchildren make up the rest of my immediate whanau/family and I am currently a caregiver for Oranga Tamariki.
I am the second of four generations having completed primary education at Castlecliff School and to date have many whanau members still currently attending our awesome kura/school.
I was approached to be co-opted onto the Castlecliff School Board in 2014 and successfully elected in 2016. Serving on the board has given me valuable insight into the successful management of our kura/school alongside and with the cooperation of the Principal and Teaching Staff.
Fundraising, ‘Health & Safety’ and currently ‘Finances’, are some of the portfolio’s I have been involved in. These have been quite challenging at times but with the support of all involved we have had some fantastic results.
I believe I can continue to make a positive contribution towards the future successes of our kura/school as part of the Board of Trustees Team by providing these attributes for our students to reach their full potential:
a safe, exciting, learning environment with specialised programs to suit every student
supporting the Teachers, Support staff and Management team
being involved in a diverse cultural environment
supporting sporting teams, cultural events and class trips
being a proactive Board member
I am committed to supporting educational achievement for our tamariki/children and positive change for our community.
I look forward to continuing working in partnership with all our staff, whanau and community to ensure our tamariki/children and kura/school have the best outcomes possible.
