Castaic Middle School ASB
what is asb?
ASB stands for Associated Student Body. It is the student government and leadership class that represents the entire student body of Castaic Middle School. Students who were selected to be in ASB plan fun and exciting events for our school (dances, back to school bashes, carnivals, spirit days, lunchtime activities, etc.), encourage school spirit, promote community awareness, manage clubs, oversee student-raised funds, and much more!
HOW TO JOIN ASB
Castaic Middle School’s ASB is a year-long exploratory for students dedicated to improving their leadership skills while representing the CMS student body. Throughout the year, members will complete various activities that will require them to be responsible, trustworthy, ambitious, and most importantly, an effective team member. If you are interested in becoming an ASB member, please know this class is demanding. There will be times you will be required to give up your own time, outside of school, to complete leadership activities. You will also be expected to balance the workload of ASB and your academics, while being held to higher standards and expectations than other students on campus. This class is also a space where you will express your creativity, make an impact on our school, and make lifelong friends. If you believe you are able to represent CMS with courage, creativity, and compassion, then we welcome you to apply! Applications for the 2024-25 school year have concluded and future information will be updated here.
