Welcome to Burley Junior High. My name is Melanie Clark, I was raised in Declo and still reside there with my husband. I have been an educator in Cassia County for 12 years. I spent 11 years at White Pine Elementary where I taught nine years on the 5th grade level, and two years at the 6th grade level. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science from Idaho State University with a K-8 endorsement. Before becoming an educator, I worked as a bookkeeper for many years and continue to manage our business records on top of teaching. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and watching students grow and develop new skills. I love it when students have those "aha" moments. I believe students need to have hands- on experiences to be able to make those connections to the world outside of the classroom. On a more personal note, my hobbies outside of the classroom include spending time with my family and being a grandma to my littles. I also enjoy golfing, camping, sewing, making cards, exploring the outdoors and cooking.
