How do I know if my child is eligible for Preschool?
Program Options: Two programs in the Casey County community offer free early childhood education services to qualifying four-year-old children. (Three-year-old children may be eligible with an identified disability.) The programs are: Casey County Public Preschool Programs (state-funded) and Lake Cumberland Community Action Council's Head Start (federal-funded). To apply for Casey County Schools Public Preschool, please use the online application located on the district website or this preschool site.
First, complete the online application at the district website www.casey.kyschools.us. After you complete the application, a Preschool representative will contact you at a later time to confirm and schedule your registration appointment at one of the three elementary school locations.
