Live Studio Sessions for Painters
Scheduled studio hours where painters work quietly alongside each other. No instruction, no critique—just focused studio time with other creatives putting in the work.

Painting is solitary by nature. That's part of what makes it meaningful—and part of what makes it hard to sustain.
These sessions exist to give you something simple: a scheduled block of time with other painters, working alongside you on camera. We say hello, share what we're each working on, and then we hit mute and paint.
I'm currently testing a few weekend time slots across different time zones. If you'd like access to the calendar, add your email below along with a few quick preferences. I'll send you the link and you can register for upcoming sessions.
No cost. No obligations. Just a place to show up and paint.
Typically the sessions are scheduled to last two hours, giving us wiggle room to share at the beginning and end.
Come in whenever you can. Sessions run for about two hours, so there's plenty of time to settle in. Just enter quietly, wave hello or share your goal in the chat, and get to work. No need to explain or apologize—life happens.
Not at all. At the start of each session, there's an optional moment to say hello and share what you're working on—but it's completely voluntary. Some painters prefer to just wave and get started. That's fine.
No. These sessions are about protected studio time, not teaching. There's no critique, no feedback, no demonstrations. Just painters working alongside each other.
Ideally you keep your camera on so we can see you working—this is part of what makes the body doubling effect work. But you don't need to show your face; many painters angle the camera toward their hands or workspace. Any basic webcam or phone camera is fine.
Any part of the creative process counts. Whether you're searching for reference photos, doing value studies, waiting for masking to dry, mixing colors, working on swatches—it's all fair game. The session is for your practice, however you need to use it that day.
Very little. After the opening few minutes, we mute and paint. Occasional quiet chat in the text chat is fine, but the room stays focused.
No. Nothing is recorded. What happens in the studio stays in the studio.
You're welcome from anywhere. I'm actively testing time slots across different time zones. When you sign up, let me know where you're based and when works best—that helps me decide which sessions to add next.
