Howard Gregory M.S. holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems and a Master of Science in Knowledge Management via the Kent State University IAKM program. He has worked with standardized patients for over 13 years and was happy to join the MSSSC team in 2011 as a Standardized Patient Trainer/Coordinator. A case study on social network learning and international collaboration in virtual worlds he co-authored was published in Teaching Arts & Science With the New Social Media, edited by Dr Charles Wankel (March, 2011). His goal is to continue his education with a focus on how to best integrate technology and education.

Lauren Miklos, MEd joined the MSSSC staff in 2018 as the Standardized Patient Trainer/Coordinator. Lauren comes to the MSSSC with more than 30 years of experience in the field of education. Lauren has had extensive experience teaching, coaching, consulting, presenting and conducting psychological testing across a wide variety of educational and community settings. Lauren hopes to use her experience and skills to support the vital education and training process at the MSSSC.
Andrea Bryner, B.A., joined the MSSSC in 2011 as the Administrative Director. Andrea serves as the key contact and is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations. Her previous work experience focused primarily on education and training of healthcare personnel in patient safety, communication and medical imaging. She has been an adjunct faculty member at Lakeland Community College in the division of Science and Health Technologies for 15 years. With a degree in Allied Health Management and over 18 years of experience in healthcare, Andrea offers a diverse set of skills that contributes to achieving our mission to advance healthcare education by delivering efficient and effective simulation experiences for our learners.
Andrew Gross, B.A., is the Medical Simulation Manager at the Mt. Sinai Skills and Simulation Center (MSSSC) and serves as the primary resource for our simulation technology. Since 2006, Drew has been responsible for maintaining the high fidelity manikins, surgical simulators, task trainers and the video-on-demand (VOD) audiovisual recording system. His extensive experience assists clients with designing just about any simulation possible. Drew's simulation experience with several critical care airlift medical teams combines his love of simulation with his enthusiasm for aviation.
Jamie Janos, B.S., has been a Simulation Specialist at MSSSC since 2010. He earned a B.S. in biology with a concentration in exercise physiology. He is a commercial photographer, allowing him to combine his medical, technical and creative skills. Jamie strives to create the highest level of realism in simulation.
