For those of you travelling by air, the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is the best option, with flights coming in from all over the Midwest and only a 25-30 minutes drive from the CWRU area. Ride share services are also regularly available to and from the airport, as well as the RTA (see below).
The Regional Transit Authority (RTA) provides bus and train transportation throughout the Greater Cleveland area, including to and from the airport, as well as the area surrounding CWRU. A single ride is $2.50, and the Transit app will allow you to purchase multiple fares, view all available lines, and see real time updates on the status of buses and trains.
Want to get to CWRU from the Airport? Take the red line from the Airport and get off at University Circle. You will find yourself a 5-10 minute walk from the symposium venue!
The Case Western Reserve community has a variety of free transportation options for students, faculty, staff and visitors, including an extensive shuttle system. Route stops are marked with signs throughout campus, and allow for quick and easy transportation around the area.
