QGrad is proud to present the LGBTQIA+ Symposium
Doing Intersectionality
Thursday, April 27th, 2017
9:45am-2:30pm
Case Western Reserve University
Thwing Room 224
This symposium seeks to celebrate LGBTQA+ centered work and the people that create it. In light of recent national events, the importance of LGBTQA+ visibility is ever rising and growing in importance. The importance of including intersectionality into our work and conversations also has positive implications. One of QGrad’s missions is to contribute to discussions about diversity and inclusivity at CWRU in an effort to create a safe and well-educated campus. In an attempt to do so, QGrad has created a space via this program where faculty, staff, undergraduate students, and professional students can display their passion and learn from possible mentors and their peers.
