Nuclear @ CWRU

university Nuclear Leadership program

In April 2020, the Department of Energy (DOE) approved CWRU to administer graduate research fellowships through the Nuclear Energy University Program (NEUP) University Nuclear Leadership Program. The NEUP-UNLP fellowships support students pursuing graduate degrees in nuclear engineering, nuclear science, and related fields that will advance the field of nuclear energy. While CWRU does not have a nuclear engineering major, many faculty and students are conducting research in related fields. Students who have completed less than 12 months of graduate study (including undergraduate students) are eligible to apply. All fellowship applications are reviewed externally by NEUP. The fellowship applications are typically due in January each year.
