Dr. Weber and Dr. Ramania will work with participants to expose some of the difficult questions about AI in Medical Education before looking at specific tools and techniques that can be applied to make AI an effective tool for educators. Objectives include:

• Describe tensions between how AI tools impact learners and how they impact practitioners

• Articulate a position on what information must be known by a practicing clinician (vs located in a reference)

• Locate AI-based tools that may assist with the work of education

• Develop effective prompts when interacting with AI tools

• Describe common AI technologies and their applications
