Project Cost: The cost of the frame for one house is roughly $11,000. This money purchases everything that will be needed to frame the home, transport the frame to Western Kentucky, etc. *Please keep in mind this price could fluctuate based on a variety of issues including supply chain, price of materials, gas/diesel prices, etc.

Goal: Our goal is to raise the funds together as a campus (Junior Academy, Elementary, Middle and High combined) to build the frame for one home which is $11,000. If you are interested in what happens if we have a shortfall, raise more than enough money, etc. please check out our Frequently Asked Questions page which has all the answers.

Home Owner: How is the new home owner determined? Great question. Help Build Hope will transport the newly framed home to Western Kentucky where Habitat for Humanity will help determine the new owner. The criteria for becoming a new home owner is based on the level of need, their willingness to partner with the remaining building project, and their ability to repay a mortgage through an affordable payment plan.

Why: When we read the Bible and specifically read of the time Jesus spent on Earth we see that He moved, loved, and cared for others with great compassion. Even more so, we read where he was "counter-cultural" by how he cared for those in great need. For example, we see in Mark 1, where Jesus physically touched a man with leprosy in a time when no one dared do such a thing. In John 4, Jesus went out of His way to meet a Samaritan woman at a well where they spoke about her life choices and how she could drink from a well that never runs dry. All this to say, when Jesus gave the disciples (and us) the Great Commission in Matthew 28, He had already shown us multiple ways of loving, serving, and caring for those in need.

This is why helping our students "learn to grow as Jesus did" is a part of our DNA at Christian Academy. While we spend the entire month of March focused on intervening in the lives of someone in need you'll find that missions is the heart of why Christian Academy exists in the first place.

The Gospel: Fundraising to build a home is incredible but we know sharing the love of Jesus is even better. Who will share the Gospel with the family receiving the home? Ace and her team will get the extreme honor of meeting, praying with and sharing the Gospel with the new home owners.
