Circulation
The library circulation is divided into three sections:
Internal circulation: special places and halls equipped for reading, studying, and research have been allocated to both male and female students and faculty members.
External circulation: the users of the circulation system, the number of books allowed, and the borrowing period as follows:

In line with technology, a self-circulation service has been introduced, which enables the user to perform borrow and return procedures and inquire about his custody without the intervention of the learning resource specialist.
Semester circulation: where the student’s book is borrowed to students for an entire semester and is returned after the end of the exams.
The user is responsible for the damage or loss of the material loaned to him and is obliged to replace it or pay its value in addition to 10% administrative expenses. .
Reference
These services are among the most important and direct public services provided by the library. A special room has been allocated for reference books, periodicals and theses, in addition to guides, yearbooks, and government publications, which is supervised by a specialized information specialist. Users' questions and inquiries are also answered, regardless of their nature. It is worth mentioning that the reference services are not only limited to answering the reference questions raised by the users but also go beyond them to include many other services. Click here
Current awareness
is a way of letting users know about materials that have been newly received in the library. Click here
SDI
Selective dissemination of information (SDI) differs from the current awareness, where selective dissemination depends on preparing lists of the interests of each user and informing him of the latest in the areas of interest to him only.
OPAC
The user can search the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC )with several options, by accessing it from anywhere and at any time, and devices dedicated to searching have been provided in the library. The OPAC also allows the user to follow up on his custody. Click here
E-resources
It is considered one of the most important sources of scientific information, which is characterized by modernity, diversity and reliability. It can also be accessed at any time and from anywhere with the possibility of printing, storing, sending or sharing results. Click here
Training
The library offers training workshops for users in research skills in the OPAC and e-resources, as well as other workshops in information awareness and various topical topics in the specialization.
Technical Services
Acquisition
Acquisition is very important for a library, in order to meet the needs of the users’ needs for information sources, it seeks to develop its collections by purchasing from book fairs and local and international publishers, as well as by gifting from authors, as it is continuously provided from government publications. The library also provides a service to suggest materials for purchase, to be provided later in the library.
Cataloging & Classification
The library catalogs and classifies materials in order to have the materials available for use as soon as possible. The library uses the Anglo-American cataloging rules for indexing and classification. The Library of Congress classification plan is also used. The previous operations are implemented through the SYMPHONY system for managing library operations.
Weeding
It aims to review and evaluate the information sources available in the library in order to partially dispose of some library materials whose information has become outdated, inaccurate, and whose use has become scarce and occupies a place in the library shelves.
Bookbinding
In order maintenance of library collections and preservation from damage to be easy to use.
Inventory
The inventory is the process of ensuring the custody of the library, and the periods for taking inventory range from one to five years.
