Kindergarten Ready at Carthage R-9

Kindergarten Round Up 

Thursday, February 29, 2024   12 - 7PM  

& Friday, March 1, 2024   9AM - 3PM 

at the Carthage R-9 Welcome Center located at 710 Lyon Street 

All screenings are by appointment. Families will be contacted by district staff to schedule an appointment. Please be sure your student has already completed the DIAL assessment with PAT. If you have any questions or need to have your student complete the DIAL assessment call the Parents As Teachers Office at 417-359-7012 or email them at pat@carthagetigers.org. 

Kindergarten Round Up allows families to: 

• have incoming students assessed for kindergarten readiness skills. 

• complete the enrollment process for the 24-25 school year. 

• meet with health staff. 

• get connected with resources and support from Parents as Teachers and district kindergarten staff. 

Please Bring

• Your Student (Student must turn 5 before August 1)

• Birth Certificate or other proof of age (medical records, baptismal records, passport)

• Parent Photo ID (Driver’s License, Passport, College ID & Work ID)

• Immunization Records

• Proof of Residency (such as a utility or internet bill, rent receipt, housing rental or lease agreement; no cell phone bills will be accepted. Must have name of the parent/guardian and show service/physical address.)

• Custody Documentation (if an order is in place)
