Carthage Esports is divided into three (3) categories, that serve all levels of gamers at Carthage College. Below, you will find a breakdown of each of these categories, to see what category will best fit you!
The Varsity Esports program at Carthage College, is the school's 28th varsity spot, and falls under the Department of Athletics. All members in this program are Student-Athletes at Carthage, and are entitled to the benefits all student-athletes receive, such as:
Access to varsity training facilities
Access to the Esports Arena outside of Public Hours
Professional coaching and instruction
Access to the N.E.S.T. Recovery Center in the Tarble Athletic Complex
Paid travel to special events/tournaments
Customizable Esport Jerseys

Access to discounts on products and software through partnered organizations/companies
Currently, the Varsity Program competes in the following games:

Carthage Esports is also the only sport at Carthage that offers scholarships to select recruits!
Scholarships are awarded based on player ability, program need, and other factors. Not all recruits will receive a scholarship or financial aid from Carthage Esports
The Club Esports program at Carthage College, is the one of many clubs and organizations at Carthage! This program falls under the Department of Athletics, but members in this program are not Student-Athletes at Carthage. Some of the benefits of Club Esports are:
Ability to travel to special events/tournaments, if funding is available
Carthage Esport Jerseys (non-custom), after one semester of competition.
Potential access to discounts on products and software through partnered organizations/companies
