This year marks my 33rd year of teaching special education, 25 of those years working in the Carterville Unit #5 school district. I am a mother to 20 year old twin daughters, Callie and Olivia. My husband, David Russell, is a Social Studies teacher at Zeigler-Royalton High School, where he has taught for 28 years. In addition, he is the head ZR Boys Basketball Coach at ZR High School.ย In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, decorating/crafting, traveling to new places and loving on my Chiweenie named Jerzee.ย
