Doors open for students at 7:00 a.m.
Students will be dismissed to their classrooms at 7:40 a.m.
Regular dismissal is at 2:45 p.m.
Students remain in their classes until their buses are called.
Students who are "parent pick-up" usually are released from their classes at 2:50 p.m.
Office Hours for HVMS are from 7:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

If your child is a RETURNING STUDENT, who was enrolled in the Carter County School District last school year, please use the following link, login, and then click the “Returning Student Registration” to complete your child’s online registration for the 2025-2026 school year.

If you need to register a child who has NEVER been enrolled in the Carter County School District, please use the following link and then click “New to District Registration” to complete your child’s enrollment application for the 2025-2026 school year.
