Honors English IIi Syllabus 

The Honors-level class is an accelerated version of the English III College Prep-level class. Therefore, the work is more challenging, the pace is quicker, and the expectations are higher. All the literature of the College Prep-level is covered, plus additional works, and the reading is done independently by the student, who should come in prepared to discuss. Essay and projects are more frequently required and are held to a higher criterion of grading. All this is done to ensure a challenging yet edifying environment that befits an Honors-level class.
