About Mrs. Martin

My name is Rebecca Martin. I have been in education for twenty-five years. I taught for 16 years in an elementary classroom. For the past nine years I have been the Technology Facilitator at Carmel Middle School, Coulwood STEM Academy, South Mecklenburg High School, all in Charlotte, and now West Carteret High School. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Multi-Subject Education K-8 from West Virginia University in Parkersburg. I have a Master's in Educational Technology from Lesley University in Boston. I am also Nationally Board Certified (Middle Childhood Generalist). I am the proud parent of a super crazy family. I have two biological children, two step-children and an adopted child. Their ages range from 23 to 32.  I have eight beautiful grandchildren! My husband is my partner in crime in Education. He works for Craven County as a Media Specialist, but I love him anyway. :0) We even worked together for four years. Team Martin was a force to be reckoned with!
