Senior Homecoming Court
Hannah Buchan is a dedicated student who enjoys balancing academics, extracurricular activities, and personal hobbies. In her free time, she loves fishing, tanning, and spending time with friends and family at the beach, where she finds joy in the outdoors. She is actively involved in several school organizations, including Key Club, SkillsUSA, Beta Club, and Hospice Helpers, where she develops leadership skills and contributes to her community. Athletics also play an important role in Hannah's life. She is captain of both the Varsity Volleyball and Varsity Basketball teams, which have taught her the importance of being a good team player, discipline, and perseverance. Looking toward the future, she hopes to attend the University of North Carolina (UNC) to pursue a career in occupational therapy, where she hopes to combine her passion for helping others with her dedication to personal growth and service.
Jesse Gray is representing the class of 2026 at this year's homecoming. She enjoys going to the beach and travelling, she is also on the varsity tennis team. After high school Jesse plans to go to an in-state college, she is interested in working in the medical field and radiology.
Kaslyn Harper is a dedicated senior at Croatan High School who has committed herself to academics and extracurriculars throughout her four years. She has been an active member of HOSA, pursuing her passion for healthcare, and has cheered all four years, currently serving as cheer captain. Kaslyn enjoys spending time with her family and friends, loves to travel, and is proud to represent the senior class on the Homecoming Court. After graduation, she plans to attend a 4 university to earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing, continuing to demonstrate the dedication, leadership, and spirit that have defined her time at Croatan
Persayus Humphrey is a Senior who is an active member of Carteret collective sound color guard and the Croatan high school color guard. As a captain for both teams. Persayus is also a member of the Carteret collective winter guard. After high school, Persayus plans to attend Cape Fear Community to study sonography.
Elizabeth Jeronimo Ovando is a senior who enjoys volunteering in the community and shopping in their free time. She is passionate about giving back and finding ways to support those around her, while also staying connected to her personal interests. Looking ahead, Elizabeth plans to continue growing as a leader and pursue future opportunities at a university.
Caroline is a senior who is currently a devoted member of Key Club and Skills USA. She also serves as an FCA leader, where she is committed to sharing the gospel with students at Croatan High School. In her free time, Caroline enjoys painting, collecting shells at the beach, and Bible journaling. After graduation, she plans to attend a four-year college and pursue her dream career of becoming a veterinarian. Caroline is grateful for the love and support of her friends, family, and boyfriend, and she is truly honored to be a part of this year's Homecoming Court.
Alexis Tracy, a dedicated senior at Croatan High School, has been an active member of our community since joining us in the second half of her seventh-grade year. Over the past four years, she has maintained a job while contributing to Key Club, Hospice Helpers, and Croatan Crazies. This year, she is expanding her involvement with Skills USA and the Beta Club. Beyond school, Alexis has furthered meaningful relationships through her involvement with Glad Tidings Church since her freshman year. Looking ahead, Alexis is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Nursing Science. She is honored to represent the Class of 2026 as a member of the Homecoming Court.
Beau Boyd is a senior in the class of 2026. Beau enjoys hobbies such as hunting, fishing and playing clash royale, he has been a four year varsity football player. As well as a 4 year varsity lacrosse player. He is proud to have won the 2025 lacrosse 1a/2a/3a state championship, along with going 5-0 for the first time in the school's football program history. Beau plans on playing lacrosse in college once he graduates, and getting a degree in construction management.
Alfred Lee Butler V — a proud member of this year's Homecoming Court! When he's not on the soccer field or teeing off on the golf course, you can find him working and spending his days off outdoors hunting and fishing. Alfred believes in living life fully, laughing often, and making memories that last. Homecoming is another great chapter in his story and he thanks it all to close friends and amazing family.
Calvin Gossert is a senior who proudly represents the Croatan Tennis Team and is an accomplished Eagle Scout. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and staying active in the community. His hobbies include volunteering, working, and exploring the outdoors. After graduation, he plans to attend a four-year university to continue his education and pursue his future goals.
Alex McClain is a senior at Croatan High School. He has played football for four years, spending the last three on the varsity team, and has also been a member of the track team for four years as a thrower. Alex is a proud leader of the Croatan FCA club and is also involved in FFA. In his free time, he enjoys taking photos for the Sideline Snaps Instagram. Alex says he is honored to be on the HOCO court and would like to thank his friends, family, girlfriend, and most importantly, God.
Senior Jonathan Russell is excited to represent the Class of 2025 on this year’s homecoming court. Outside the classroom, he spends much of his time writing, cooking, and fishing—three hobbies that allow him to express his creativity and enjoy the outdoors. His love for cooking has grown over the years and plays a big role in shaping his future plans. After graduation, Jonathan plans to attend culinary school, where he hopes to turn his passion into a rewarding career as a chef.
Tristin Seavy is a proud member of the Class of 2026 at Croatan High School. He is involved in FFA, Hospice Helpers, and Tri-M. After graduation, Tristin plans to continue pursuing his acting and modeling career. He has already appeared as a supporting actor on CBS’s Magnum P.I. and has been featured as a model for major retailers including Target, Walmart, and Amazon. Tristin would like to thank his family, friends, and the entire Croatan student body and staff for their support and for giving him this opportunity to represent the Class of 2026.
Zach Truax has been a dedicated member of the Croatan soccer team for four years. In his free time, Zach enjoys attending Carolina Hurricanes hockey games, fishing, and spending time with his family. After graduation, he plans to attend the University of North Carolina Wilmington to pursue a degree in business.
