By 2026, MDRRMO Buenavista is a fully capacitated department that leads the implementation of an integrated disaster risk reduction and management programs for a safer, adaptive and disaster resilient Buenavistahanon communities towards sustainable development.

The MDRRMO shall be the dynamic and unifying force in providing a systematic and holistic approach to capacitate communities, strengthen multi stakeholder partnership and pool resources in order to reduce disaster and to administer a comprehensive civil defense and disaster risk reduction and management program towards a safer and resilient community.
MANDATE
MANDATE
The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of LGU Buenavista as the implementing arm and secretariat of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, shall have the primary mission of administering a comprehensive local civil defense and disaster risk reduction and management program by providing leadership in the continuous development of strategic and systematic approaches as well as measures to reduce the vulnerabilities and risks to hazards and manage the consequences of disasters.
