The University Press is mandated to deliver and/or perform the following:
1. Manage and supervise all university publication needs;
2. Produce a range of university brochures;
3. Work alongside Management and Information System (MIS) to ensure all publication materials are streamlined with CSU's overall brand;
4. Coordinate and supervise photo, video, and livestreaming coverages, either by in-house or external contractors;
5. Ensure proper cataloguing and archiving of important media produced by and for CSU;
6. Provide Publication and Other Related Service;
7. Provide support through coordination to the external campuses' counterpart;
8. Provide mechanisms for effective communication of the key institutional messages to internal and external audiences and stakeholders;
9. Provide support for colleagues to ensure consistency of quality and content;
10. Coordinate with Planning and Development Office;
11. Prepare the University Annual Report in coordination with the Planning and Development Office;
12. Maintain key communication 'channels' with University partners and other government agencies;
13. Publish news articles and produce newsletter and establish an online article resource;
14. Promote the work and expertise of the University through responsive and appropriate media channels;
15. Respond to media inquiries, arrange and facilitate interviews, press conferences, and other media coverage of the University's activities and/or its units;
16. Ensure harmonious relationships with members of the media, government officials, statutory bodies, the voluntary sector, residents and community groups;
17. Uphold the University Branding and lead in raising the profile of the University through promotional video, website content, and social media network;
18. Coordinate and ensure streamlining of Information and Communication Protocols by both campuses; and
19. Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the VPEOS or other higher authorities.
