The Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association (NIAA) is a non-profit organization of secondary schools in Nevada. In essence, the NIAA is the governing body of high school athletics and activities in the Silver State as recognized by the Nevada state legislature.
The Carson City Aquatic Facility offers an Olympic-sized indoor pool measuring 50 meters X 25 yards, a Parent and Tot pool, Therapy pool, Weight Room and for Summer Fun a 25 yard outdoor pool which is open May through September, weather permitting. This facility offers numerous aquatic programs, lessons and the Carson Tigersharks Competitve Swimming Program.
