INFO/NEWS:
Yearbooks: Students who ordered yearbooks received them on Friday, May 15th. No extras were ordered but we will be able to sell the overages if no yearbooks were damaged during shipping. Students interested in purchasing overages will need to bring $65 cash to school on Monday. Parent's please email cms.yearbook@carrolltoncityschools.net and provide your child's full name and their homeroom teacher if you want them added to the waiting list.
7th Grade Social: Attention 7th Grade Students! Join us for the 7th Grade Social on Wednesday, May 20th, from 9:00 – 11:00 AM. The AGW Ice Cream Truck will be coming! Students who would like to purchase treats should bring a minimum of $5.00. We look forward to a fun time celebrating together!
8th Grade Spinnerz: Reminder that on Wed. May 20th, 8th grade will go to Spinnerz to enjoy a private celebration with their classmates OR be excused from the last day of classes if they do not wish to go. Students are not permitted to come to the CMS campus after the event. Students will report to their 1st block, and then load buses to be transported to the rink. The cost is $5.00, and the event will run from 9:00—11:00 a.m. Students MUST make arrangements to be picked up in front of the rink no later than 11:30 a.m. Don’t forget to bring your permission slip signed, along with your money if you haven’t yet.
Music Technology Course: CHS will be offering a Music Technology course for the first time during the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. In this course, students will have the opportunity to learn about and explore music production and audio engineering. If you are interested in this course or want to find out more about it, please complete this interest form.
Summer Camps: Now a long-standing tradition, Carrollton City Schools once again is excited to offer several camps and other enrichment opportunities during summer break. For more information about camps available at CCS and in the community, click HERE.
Summer Meals: Carrollton City Schools will provide Summer meals at no cost to children 18 & under. More information can be found here.
CMS Morning Broadcast: can be viewed on YouTube each school day and features students and staff! Please subscribe to our channel @cmstrojans, to be notified when the daily announcements are available! Our broadcast is interactive and we have launched our Hub! Go to http://bit.ly/broadcasthub - from there you can complete student shoutout requests, submit ideas or questions to us, and submit your trivia answers or votes quickly! The school announcements and At-a-Glance sites are also linked on the Hub. Please ask your teachers to add it to your Google Classroom if they have not done so already!
Trojan U: Students, need something fun to do after school? Come and join Trojan University with your friends or even meet new friends. During Trojan University you can receive help with your homework, receive academic enrichment, participate in the fine arts and participate in educational community service. Snacks are provided as well as bus transportation. To receive an application see Mr. Dukes in room 905 or see Ms. Brownson in room 412. We look forward to seeing you at Trojan University!

CMS Tennis Team Parent Meeting: CMS Tennis team, remember to meet after school on Monday, May 18th in the Media Center with Coach Crandell and Coach Folds.
Girls Flag Football Tryouts: Carrollton Middle School Girls Flag Football Try-outs will be held in the SAC on May 18th and 19th from 4:00 - 5:30pm. Please see Mrs. Whitfield in room 403 for an information packet. You must have a current physical on file in the office to participate in try-outs.
Science Club: Attention all science club members- We will have our last meeting and end of the year celebration on Tuesday May 19th. We will have food and a gaming truck here for this meeting. 6th grade will begin at 3:15 meeting in the cafeteria. 7th and 8th grade will meet in the cafeteria after bus dismissal. This meeting will finish at 4:45 so please make sure that arrangements are made to have a ride to pick you up! Thanks and we look forward to celebrating on Tuesday!
Summer Football: Starting June 2nd, Rising 6th/7th Football practice will begin and will practice every Tue. & Thur. at the REC, and Rising 8th/9th Football practice will be Mon. - Thur. starting June 8th.
