Limited Reopening of CMS Yearbook Sales: Yearbook sales for the 2025–2026 school year officially closed on March 20. However, due to continued interest and requests from families, we will be reopening online sales for a limited time only. Yearbooks will be available for purchase at $65 from March 31 through April 5. All orders must be completed online at: http://bit.ly/cmsyearbook26
Student Candids / Sports: We need your photos (candids, friends, sports, clubs) for the yearbook and for display during lunch on our cafeteria screens. Email them directly to cms.yearbook@carrolltoncityschools.net or submit as many as you like using this link: http://bit.ly/cmsyearbookpics26.
8th Grade Chattanooga Trip Parent/Guardian Meeting: There will be a parent/guardian meeting on Thursday, April 2nd for all students going on this year's 8th grade trip to Chattanooga, TN. The time of the meeting is 5:30 p.m., in the CMS cafeteria. Important information will be shared, so please plan to attend, thank you!
CMS Morning Broadcast: can be viewed on YouTube each school day and features students and staff! Please subscribe to our channel @cmstrojans, to be notified when the daily announcements are available! Our broadcast is interactive and we have launched our Hub! Go to http://bit.ly/broadcasthub - from there you can complete student shoutout requests, submit ideas or questions to us, and submit your trivia answers or votes quickly! The school announcements and At-a-Glance sites are also linked on the Hub. Please ask your teachers to add it to your Google Classroom if they have not done so already!
Trojan U: Students, need something fun to do after school? Come and join Trojan University with your friends or even meet new friends. During Trojan University you can receive help with your homework, receive academic enrichment, participate in the fine arts and participate in educational community service. Snacks are provided as well as bus transportation. To receive an application see Mr. Dukes in room 905 or see Ms. Brownson in room 412. We look forward to seeing you at Trojan University!

CLUBS / SPORTS RELATED:
FCA Meetings will be weekly on Fridays at 7:48 am, in the Media Center. We have had so many students attending our meetings that we have to split it up and will now meet based on grade levels. Our next meeting is for 8th grade on Friday, March 27th.
Dance Team: An interest meeting will be held in the Hall of Fame on March 31 at 5:30 PM. All dancers that want to try out are required to attend the meeting with a parent unless exempt by a coach. The Trojan dance team will hold tryouts for next season on April 13-17. Current 7th graders can audition for spirit team only, current eighth graders can audition for competition and spirit teams. A physical and tryout form will be required on the first day of tryouts. Forms will be given at the tryout meeting, if you have any questions feel free to ask Mrs. Vargas. We hope to see you there!
CMS Cheerleading Tryouts: Middle School Cheer Tryouts will take place on March 31st - April 3rd in the SAC from 4-6 pm. Make sure you have all paperwork filled out and a physical!
Football Meeting - Rising 8th/9th graders: There will be a meeting for rising 8th/9th grade football players on Thursday, 4/2, at 8:20 am in the cafeteria.
