• CMS Morning Broadcast: can be viewed on YouTube each school day and features students and staff! Please subscribe to our channel @cmstrojans, to be notified when the daily announcements are available! Our broadcast is interactive and we have launched our Hub! Go to http://bit.ly/broadcasthub - from there you can complete student shoutout requests, submit ideas or questions to us, and submit your trivia answers or votes quickly! The school announcements and At-a-Glance sites are also linked on the Hub. Please ask your teachers to add it to your Google Classroom if they have not done so already!

• Trojan U: Students, need something fun to do after school? Come and join Trojan University with your friends or even meet new friends. During Trojan University you can receive help with your homework, receive academic enrichment, participate in the fine arts and participate in educational community service. Snacks are provided as well as bus transportation. To receive an application see Mr. Dukes in room 905 or see Ms. Brownson in room 412.  We look forward to seeing you at Trojan University!

• CCS School Guide: This one-stop-shop gives you all the important information you need to make sure the year starts off right! From Important Dates, IC Portal Help, and even our new step-up guides for each school, it all can be found here. 

CLUBS / SPORTS RELATED:

• FCA Meetings will be weekly on Fridays at 7:48 am, in the Media Center. We have had so many students attending our meetings that we have to split it up and will now meet based on grade levels. Our next meeting is for 6th grade on Friday, January 9th. 

• Art Club: will meet on Friday, January 9th. Art Club is accepting new members for the Spring Semester. Applications can be picked up outside the art room and payments can be made on Revtrak.

• Track and Field Tryouts: Tryouts will be held on Monday, January 12th through Thursday, January 15th. You can dress out in the PE locker room and meet at the field in front of CES. We must have a physical on file in order for you to try out. Pick up is at 5:30 pm each day at the CMS bus loop. See Coach Lane in room 425 for questions!

• Girls Lacrosse: There will be a meeting for girls interested in playing lacrosse for CMS on Wednesday, January 14th at 7:50 am in the gym. Please attend the meeting for information on tryouts and requirements.

• Science Club Trip: Great news! You are invited to join our Science Club Adventure! Pack your bags for an unforgettable trip to the Alabama 4-H Center, The Majestic Caverns, and Mellow Mushroom- March 26–27! We have two fun filled two days planned of kayaking, master archery, soar on the giant rope swing, and meet real Raptor Birds at the 4-H Center. We will also explore The Majestic Caverns for a cave tour with a laser show and take on the group maze challenge! We’ll finish the trip with pizza at Mellow Mushroom before heading home.
