Georgia Milestones: Students will take the Georgia Milestones: May 5 - May 6 for Math Sections 1 - 2. 8th Grade will also test on: May 7 for Science Sections 1 - 2 / HS Physical Science, and May 8 for Social Studies Sections 1 - 2. | Review testing information HERE for important dates and reminders.
CMS Morning Broadcast: can be viewed on YouTube each school day and features students and staff! Please subscribe to our channel @cmstrojans, to be notified when the daily announcements are available! Our broadcast is interactive and we have launched our Hub! Go to http://bit.ly/broadcasthub - from there you can complete student shoutout requests, submit ideas or questions to us, and submit your trivia answers or votes quickly! The school announcements and At-a-Glance sites are also linked on the Hub. Please ask your teachers to add it to your Google Classroom if they have not done so already!
Trojan U: Students, need something fun to do after school? Come and join Trojan University with your friends or even meet new friends. During Trojan University you can receive help with your homework, receive academic enrichment, participate in the fine arts and participate in educational community service. Snacks are provided as well as bus transportation. To receive an application see Mr. Dukes in room 905 or see Ms. Brownson in room 412. We look forward to seeing you at Trojan University!

CLUBS / SPORTS RELATED:
Art Club will meet the following dates until 4:45 in the Art Room (#816): Monday, May 4th, and Friday, May 8th, which will be our final meeting and will be a party for Art Club Members. Please bring snacks, drinks or treats to share.
Science Club Meeting: Attention science club members- there will be a meeting on Tuesday, May 5th in the CMS cafeteria until 4:30pm. We have a guest coming out from Carroll EMC with a bucket truck for this meeting. Don't miss out!
Girls Wrestling Meeting: Attention all current female wrestlers: There will be a girls wrestling meeting on Monday, May 11th at 8:00 AM in the media center. We will go over important information for this summer and the upcoming season, so make sure you are there and on time. If you have any questions, please see Coach Fuller.
Softball tryouts: CMS Softball tryouts will be held May 11 - 13th from 4 - 6 p.m. at the Carrollton High School softball field for any girl currently in 5th-7th grades. Girls trying out must use this link to complete the Google form. A current physical and a completed athletic release form turned in using the link in the Google form prior to tryout. S.I.S.T.E.R. Meeting: The last SISTER meeting of this school year will be on May 12th immediately after school in the media center. We will have guest speakers from the Theatre and Film Industry. Please have a ride to pick you up at 4:45 pm. See one of the sponsors if you have any questions.
Beta Club: Please join us for our end of the year party in the cafeteria on May 14th from dismissal-5:00 pm. The sign-up for parents to bring party items is linked here.
Girls Flag Football Tryouts: Carrollton Middle School Girls Flag Football Try-outs will be held in the SAC on May 14th, 18th and 19th from 4:00 - 5:30pm. Please see Mrs. Whitfield in room 403 for an information packet. You must have a current physical on file in the office to participate in try-outs.
FCA Meetings: We will not have any FCA Meetings until after the Georgia Milestones have concluded. The next meeting will be for 8th grade on Friday, May 15th, in the media center at 7:48 am and it will be a celebration.
Summer Football: Starting June 2nd, Rising 6th/7th Football practice will begin and will practice every Tue. & Thur. at the REC, and Rising 8th/9th Football practice will be Mon. - Thur. starting June 8th.
