Jekyll Island Parent Meeting: There will be a mandatory meeting on Monday, December 15th at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria for parents who have students attending the Jekyll Island trip this year.

CMS Morning Broadcast: can be viewed on YouTube each school day and features students and staff! Please subscribe to our channel @cmstrojans, to be notified when the daily announcements are available! Our broadcast is interactive and we have launched our Hub! Go to http://bit.ly/broadcasthub - from there you can complete student shoutout requests, submit ideas or questions to us, and submit your trivia answers or votes quickly! The school announcements and At-a-Glance sites are also linked on the Hub. Please ask your teachers to add it to your Google Classroom if they have not done so already!
Trojan U: Students, need something fun to do after school? Come and join Trojan University with your friends or even meet new friends. During Trojan University you can receive help with your homework, receive academic enrichment, participate in the fine arts and participate in educational community service. Snacks are provided as well as bus transportation. To receive an application see Mr. Dukes in room 905 or see Ms. Brownson in room 412. We look forward to seeing you at Trojan University!

CLUBS / SPORTS RELATED:
Science Club Meeting: Attention science club members and any student interested in joining: We have a science club meeting scheduled on December 10th in the cafeteria. We are going to have a guest host come and teach us how to make and decorate festive cards using circuitry. This will be such a fun meeting that you don't want to miss! Please make sure you do not leave until buses are dismissed and you must have a ride out front to pick you up by 4:30.
FCA Meetings will be weekly on Fridays at 7:48 am, in the Media Center. We have had so many students attending our meetings that we have to split it up and will now meet based on grade levels. Our next meeting is for 8th grade on December 12th and 7th grade will meet on Friday, December 19th.
Track & Field Interest Meeting: It is almost that time of year again! Track try-out will be coming up before you know it in January. We will hold a track and field interest meeting in the cafeteria on December 12th at 8:00 am for anyone interested! All athletes must have a current physical and athletic release form on file to try out. Click here for more information.
Art Club: will meet on Friday, December 12th. Art Club is accepting new members for the Spring Semester, which will start when we return in January. Applications can be picked up outside the art room and payments can be made on Revtrak.
Science Club Trip: Great news! You are invited to join our Science Club Adventure! Pack your bags for an unforgettable trip to the Alabama 4-H Center, The Majestic Caverns, and Mellow Mushroom- March 26–27! We have two fun filled two days planned of kayaking, master archery, soar on the giant rope swing, and meet real Raptor Birds at the 4-H Center. We will also explore The Majestic Caverns for a cave tour with a laser show and take on the group maze challenge! We’ll finish the trip with pizza at Mellow Mushroom before heading home.
